The Mareda Award for Excellence in Catechetical Ministry is a biennial award presented to a nominee whose service facilitates
catechetical ministry. The nominee may be employed as support staff or an outstanding volunteer. He/she may be a catechist,
secretary, janitor, parent, liturgist, etc. (Diocesan personnel are ineligible.) Nominees must be eligible for the Henriette M.
Mackin Award.
