BUILDING EXCELLENCE IN MINISTRY
Dear Friends in Ministry,
As the demands of ministry increase and positions are
consolidated and/or eliminated, we know that the Mareda
Association can be a lifeline to you and your ministry. We
know this is not an easy time to work in the Church, but we
believe that Mareda has much to offer! We encourage all
those in part-time and full-time catechetical ministry to be
involved.
Mareda is an independent association of catechetical leaders
in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee (formerly Milwaukee Religious
Education Directors Association). The Mareda Association
functions in cooperation with the Archdiocese of Milwaukee to
foster professional growth and excellence among all its
members for the ministry of catechesis.
Mareda's Primary Goals are to:
+ Provide mutual support for professional Development
+ Explore current trends and ideas in ministry
+ Work cooperatively on issues affecting catechetical
leaders
+ Participate actively in the state organization, Wisconsin
Directors of Religious Education Federation (WDREF)
